Effective January 4, 2021 and subject to change.
Due to the current limitations on gatherings set by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on January 4, 2021, visitors to the funeral home during the visitation and services held in the funeral home, will be restricted to 25 people. Facial covering is required in the funeral home.
The following also applies:
•Visitor’s time will be limited to five minutes so others have the opportunity to pay their respects.
•Typically, the funeral home is able to accommodate two families with visitations/viewings at the same time. This will be at the funeral home’s discretion;
•Visitation will be restricted to two-hour periods (i.e. 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.) to allow for the cleaning of the facility in between periods. Continuous visitation hours (i.e. 2 to 8) are prohibited;
•If the family requests the service be held at a church, cemetery or other facility, attendance will be subject to the church, cemetery or facility’s policy;
•Hand sanitizer will be placed around the funeral home. Signage will remind everyone to practice social distancing, the 6-foot rule;
•No food will be permitted in the facility;
•We will, of course, discourage anyone who is ill from visiting the funeral home;
•Although we have always maintained clean and sanitary restrooms and facilities, we will increase our efforts to disinfect and sanitize the restrooms, door knobs, and frequently-touched surfaces.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at 724-239-2255 or by emailing the funeral home at firstname.lastname@example.org.
